‹Blessed› [are] ‹they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.›

Behold, I [am] the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

[There are] many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

‹Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:›

‹To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.›

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, ‹I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.›

Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart.

Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
